Why do you take my class? Is there something I'm offering that you like or is it simply a convenient time for your cardio? What are your goals? Why are you here?
My goal as your instructor is to help you progress. I could easily come up with a profile each week that beats you into the ground and makes you feel like crap by the end of class, mentally, physically, and emotionally...but why? What purpose would that serve either of us? Instead, I aim to design profiles and playlists with a goal of progression. Whether you're just starting out on your fitness journey and you need to build your aerobic base, or you're an old pro who's been training for years, the beauty of Spin is that the same class can cater to both ends of the spectrum, and everything in between. I want to help you achieve your goals in the most efficient and pleasant (though not always comfortable!) way possible. If you take my class regularly, I want to hear from you! What are your goals? Why are you here? What am I doing that you like and what would you like to see me do differently? I can't promise I'll be able to accommodate everyone's tastes, but I can definitely try!
